As always it was so empowering to talk to Mama Donna! Today, we discussed how we as woman can embrace our inner Queen by honoring and celebrating the unique individuals that we are. Making time to get to know the person that you are will bring in a new element of happiness into your life, no matter what stage of life you are in.

We also discussed the resistance that women have building a loving relationship with themselves and honoring who they are by taking care of themselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually. It is important that we celebrate who we are daily not only will it make us happier in every role that we take on in our lives, but it will pass on an example of self-care to our children. An example that many of us never had in our lives which “programmed” us to repeat the same pattern as our mothers did of self neglect and self-sacrifice.
